Adam Haynes is our resident fiddler. Originally from Wakeman, Ohio, Adam has roots in Kentucky as well. His ties to bluegrass music are strong. Adam began to play the fiddle at the age of 13 with the guidance of his biggest musical influence, his father, Jimmy Haynes. Adam started his music career of music early as a member of his family band playing fiddle, banjo and providing vocals. He moved on to acts including Melvin Goins, David Parmley and Continental Divide, and Larry Stephenson, and has spent a considerable amount of time recording and touring with Grammy-nominated and IBMA award winning artists James King, Dailey & Vincent, and most recently Grasstowne before joining The Grascals. Adam and his wife, Janette, currently make their home in Portland, Tennessee with daughters Bella and Ellie. When not on the road, Adam spends time in his own recording studio doing sessions and producing projects.
